Netflix will stream Jake Paul’s boxing showdown against Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight champion.

The fight, which is slated to happen on July 20 at Texas’ AT&T Stadium, will be accessible to all Netflix users. Later on, further details will be released, along with the undercard and co-main event. Netflix and Paul’s and Nakisa Bidarian’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) are collaborating to develop it.

Paul and Tyson have both previously featured on boxing cards together. Paul competed in the co-main event of the pay-per-view, which saw Tyson facing Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition bout in 2020. It was Tyson’s return to boxing since 2006. In his second professional boxing battle, Paul defeated former NBA player Nate Robinson via knockout in the second round.

Paul’s professional record after his debut in January 2020 is 9 wins, 1 loss, and 6 knockouts. On March 2, he most recently triumphed over Ryan Bourland by TKO. As a professional, Tyson has a 50–6 win–lost record with 44 knockouts.

Paul remarked, “It’s strange to believe that I went viral for knocking out Nate Robinson on Mike Tyson’s undercard in my second professional fight.” Less than four years later, I’m going up against Tyson to see if I have what it takes to defeat one of the most infamous and iconic boxers in history. As a tribute to all we’ve done in such a short period of time, we are set to deliver the biggest battle in history, a live broadcast on the largest streaming platform worldwide, in the largest NFL stadium in the US. This is all within only 2.5 years after launching MVP.

You won’t want to miss this event whether you’re watching your first-ever fight or binge-watching it on Netflix, either team Paul or team Tyson, or a die-hard boxing enthusiast. I am thrilled to announce that on Saturday, July 20, all Netflix customers will be able to watch this incredible battle with the greatest boxer of all time, Mike Tyson. I want to be a world champion, and now I have the opportunity to prove it by taking on the greatest heavyweight champion in history, the most dangerous boxer ever, and the baddest man on the globe. This battle will last a lifetime.

Tyson declared, “I’m really excited to go into the ring with Jake Paul at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.” It will be exciting to witness what a “child” with the drive and aspirations of a GOAT can do with his experience and skill set. He has developed tremendously as a boxer over the years. It will be quite exciting to witness as it represents a full circle: I began his boxing career on the undercard of my bout with Roy Jones, and now I intend to put an end to him.

Solomon Ward’s Michael B. Abramson represented Paul and Most Valuable Promotions in court. Andrew Ruf represented Tyson at Paradigm.

This is Netflix’s most recent foray into the live sports industry. The most recent tennis match between Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz was featured on the massive streaming service, “The Netflix Slam.” They have previously shown “The Netflix Cup,” a golf competition. Beginning in 2025, Netflix is also slated to host WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” on a weekly basis.
