Fargo-Moorhead, comedy fest weekend and start of warmer, brighter days

It seems like it could snow on Friday. This weekend, Fargo-Moorhead will warm up with highs in the mid-30s and lots of sunshine. It’s going to be windy on Saturday. Next week promises more light and warmth (hey, Tuesday is 41 degrees!).

The trial of North Dakota’s case against the federal government for the expenditures incurred in responding to the demonstrations against the Dakota Access Pipeline, which is the result of an uncommon and protracted legal battle, began with opening remarks on Thursday. In order to obtain $38 million from the federal government for protest police, the state filed the case in 2019.
